In our review, we called it "a sequel that does virtually everything better than the original – which was already an exceptional Star Wars game." Still, despite its sometimes frustrating performance issues, we still found Jedi Survivor to be a wonderful follow-up to its 2019 predecessor. Additionally, this day one update is mandatory, meaning those who purchase physical copies of the game are required to connect to the internet at least once to download it. This newest update comes after an already staggeringly large day one patch that took many buyers by surprise – sometimes coming in at up to 128GB. But it's really the promise of general performance improvements that will be a relief for many who purchased the game on day one, hopefully providing a much-needed reduction of screen-tearing and graphical hiccups. The patch offers fixes for a multitude of crashes and glitches that have caused problems throughout Respawn's newest adventure in a galaxy far, far away.

We are hard at work on patches that will further improve performance and fix bugs across all platforms.… /XrjbdDQUp6- EA Star Wars May 1, 2023 Today a patch has become available for the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and tomorrow (5/2) we’ll also be issuing a patch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
